DERRY County Board are expected to mandate against any change in Rule 42 when their delegates meet tonight.

Derry expecting a ‘no’ vote

Tyrone became the latest Ulster county to reject opening the doors of Croke Park to other sports on Tuesday when their county board voted almost unanimously that Rule 42 should be retained.

While one delegate spoke at the Tyrone meeting about the advantages in opening up Croke Park, his was a lone voice according to county secretary Dominic McCaughey.
