TIPPERARY coach Len Gaynor is under no illusions about the challenge Cork pose in tonight’s Munster IHC final at Semple Stadium (7.30pm).

“Cork are going for their third title in a row which is a tribute to the talent they have at their disposal as they have had to field a new team each year,” said Gaynor.

“The intermediate championship is highly prized in Munster. Consequently there are some great games between the counties before the destination of the title is decided. Tipp are in need of any bit of success and we’d gladly settle for a victory tonight.
