Maher says new format will impact on club games
Former star Tony Maher made the comment at yesterday's convention, in his role as St. Finbarrs delegate, warning that the potential for teams to play eight games in the Guinness championship was very worrying for the clubs.
The issue was initially raised by St. Nicholas delegate Finbarr McCarthy and led to both the County Secretary Frank Murphy and ex-President Con Murphy voicing their concern.
