NEWLY appointed senior coach David Keane will look to bow out of the under-21 scene tomorrow having steered Limerick to an historic third All-Ireland title in a row.

Galway stand in his way of a hat-trick of titles, but Keane and his fellow selectors who will move up with him to the higher grade, have been through so much drama at under-21 level over the last three years, and see no reason why the success story cannot continue.

"It's been an incredible three years, beyond my wildest dreams", said Keane. "I could never have envisaged such success when we set out in 2000 to turn the fortunes of Limerick hurling around.
