Limerick blow as O’Connor emigrates

LIMERICK’S plans for the hurling season were dealt a blow after promising young talent Seanie O’Connor emigrated to England.

Selector John Meskell confirmed that the half-forward had gone across channel to find employment.

“Seanie had not taken part in any of our sessions since training resumed. We had high hopes for him in 2003 and are disappointed that he will not now figure,” he said.
