Kerry in shock win over Mayo

KERRY produced the shock of the weekend in Division 1A of the Ladies NFL yesterday, with an eight-point victory over Mayo at Ballinrobe.

The Kingdom entered the game with no points, while Mayo were topping the group following an impressive victory over All-Ireland champions Galway last weekend.

Kerry led by three points at the break yesterday and pulled away in the second half, winning 1-13 to 0-8.
