AFL scouts begin to eye senior Ó hAilpín

CORK County Board bosses may have a job to hold on to star defender Seán Óg Ó hAilpín.

The Na Piarsaigh club man, many people's favoured candidate for hurler of the year, is to be watched by Australian Rules club Carlton in this year's International Compromise Rules games.

Carlton, who sensationally lured away Seán Óg's brother Setanta last year, have not ruled out contact with the senior Ó hAilpín but the club stresses no official approach has been made at this point.
