Corkery to give Cork another shot

COLIN CORKERY will play with the Cork footballers for another year if he is wanted by new manager Billy Morgan.

Corkery to give Cork another shot

Corkery was speaking in Perth yesterday as the Irish preparations for the International Rules Series with Australia stepped up in pace. Included in John O'Keeffe's squad as the 'target' man in attack, the Nemo star admitted that he didn't believe at the start of the summer he would be involved in the competition.

He was out of condition when he was initially called into the enlarged panel, leading to speculation that he would not make it. First Cork made an early exit from the championship and then Nemo Rangers were knocked out of the county championship. It meant that he had been inactive for about two months.
