Kelly kicks out all the pretenders to his Fada crown

OFFALY goalkeeper Paraic Kelly (pictured) retained his MBNA Kick Fada title with a winning kick of 63 metres at Bray Emmets GAA Club in Co Wicklow on Saturday.

The ladies’ competition was won by Irene Munnelly from Meath with a 45 -metre kick.

Kelly beat off stiff competition from some of the stars of inter-county football including Gerry McGill from Donegal, Mattie Forde of Wexford, Meath’s Joe Sheridan and Dublin’s Mark Vaughan.
