Wexford win was no flash in the pan, says Cats' boss Cody

ANYBODY who questions the merit of Wexford's win over All-Ireland champions Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final does a disservice to both teams, according to Cats' manager Brian Cody.

Cody, preparing for an All-Ireland qualifier against Galway in Thurles on Sunday (6.15pm), heaped praise on John Conran's side, brushing off suggestions his team is on the wane.

"I have been saying over the last four or five years that Wexford are always dangerous, a very proud team, always very competitive.
