Round 2B or Round not 2B? That was the question asked recently when the All-Ireland football championship kicked off recently.

For Cork and Donegal, it’s Round not 2B following their respective victories over Meath and Kerry what will be three weeks earlier. For them it is Round 2A and they will go head-to-head this coming weekend for a place in the quarter-finals.

For the Kingdom, it is Round 2B following that dramatic defeat at Fitzgerald Stadium as they face Kildare with both side’s knowing another loss will spell the end of their Sam Maguire chase.

It is a busy weekend that also sees matches like Monaghan v Roscommon and Derry v Meath taking place on Saturday with both being shown live on GAA+ while on Sunday the streaming service will broadcast Galway v Westmeath with RTÉ showing Louth v Armagh followed by Tyrone v Mayo. Cavan v Dublin, just like Cork and Kerry’s encounters, failed to be selected, as we already know.

But regardless, it promises to be an exciting weekend of football action so here is everything else you need to know ahead of Kildare v Kerry.

Where is the game being played?

Cedral St Conleth's Park in Newbridge is the venue for the game.

What time is throw-in?

Throw-in has been set for 5.30pm on Saturday, June 13.

Where to watch?

Nowhere. The match cannot be watched anywhere but luckily for you all, you can follow the best of the action on the Irish Examiner’s new and improved liveblog.

What else is on?

Monaghan v Roscommon (4.30pm) and Derry v Meath (7pm) taking place on Saturday with both being shown live on GAA+.

On Sunday the streaming service will broadcast Galway v Westmeath (2pm) with RTÉ showing Louth v Armagh (1pm) followed by Tyrone v Mayo (3.30pm). Cavan v Dublin (2pm), just like Cork and Kerry’s encounters, failed to be selected.
