Tipperary’s county teams will be donning a new logo and name on their jerseys next season although their sponsors are to remain the same.

It is understood the global payments and financial service technology company Fiserv, who have a base in Nenagh as well as Dublin, will remain the All-Ireland SHC champions’ primary backers in 2026. It will mark the fifth season of their association with the county.

However, the Tipperary jersey will carry a new name Clover, a point-of-sale system owned by Fiserv. The logo is a four-leaf clover but with three of the leaves silhouetted.

Part of Fiserv’s agreement with Tipperary carried a bonus payment for lifting the Liam MacCarthy Cup this year. They are set to be the county’s long-running sponsors since Enfer, who were backers between 2002 and ’11.

Last year, Tipperary GAA’s commercial income rose by 12% to just over €800,000 with a jump in sponsorship of €109,185 from the previous year. As well as Fiserv, Tipperary GAA have agreements with the likes of FBD, who have naming rights to Semple Stadium and are sponsors of the county championships.

Since sponsorship was permitted in 1991, Tipperary have a different name emblazoned across their jersey for their six All-Ireland successes – Tipperary Water (’91), Finches (2001), Enfer (2010), Elverys Intersport (‘16), Teneo (’19) and Fiserv.

Meanwhile, Waterford GAA have awarded the naming rights of Walsh Park to their playing kit provides Azzurri.

It was confirmed on Wednesday night that the Waterford-based firm have agreed a multi-year deal with the county board to have their name associated with the Waterford city venue.

It's the second naming rights deal Waterford GAA have done in the last eight months. In February, it was announced their Dungarvan venue will be known as Cappoquin Logistics Fraher Field.

Azzurri have been supplying the Déise kit since 2003. Waterford chairman Neil Moore welcomed the news: “We are delighted to welcome Azzurri Sport as the new naming sponsor of Walsh Park. This partnership goes far beyond naming rights it represents shared values of community, identity, and ambition. The support of Azzurri Sport will make a real difference to the future of our players, our facilities, and our games at every level in Waterford."

Kerry are the only county in Munster yet to do a naming rights deal although that could soon change. Earlier this week, they announced Maura Ashe has become the county’s new commercial manager.
