Thomas Barr clips hurdle that costs him Olympic final

It was another action-packed morning for Team Ireland in a sweltering Tokyo this morning

Despite having posted his second-fastest time ever (48.26), Tomas Barr will not progress to the 400m Olympic final. 

The Waterford man hit hurdle seven, costing Barr a few tenths of a second, disrupting his momentum, which resulted in fourth place.
