A packed crowd lifted the roof off the Mardyke Arena UCC this evening, but it just wasn’t enough to drive the Ireland senior women’s basketball team over the line.

They lost out to Norway 73-62 in their opening group game at the 2018 FIBA Women’s European Championship for Small Countries.
