Las Palmas have appointed Paco Jemez as coach until the end of the season as they battle relegation from La Liga.

The former Spain international returns to his hometown club for a second time after a brief spell in charge in the second tier in 2010 and 2011, replacing Pako Ayestaran who was sacked at the end of November.
