Manchester City kept themselves top of the Premier League with a 1-0 win at Chelsea, after Manchester United had earlier swept past winless Crystal Palace 4-0 at Old Trafford.

The Eagles were left without a point or goal from seven Premier League matches this season as Jose Mourinho's side again turned on the style.
