Ireland to host major basketball championships in 2017

The Championships, which will take place from August 4-13 will include 24 countries.

Ireland has been selected to host the U18 Women’s European Basketball Championships in 2017, it has been revealed today.

FIBA made the announcement which has been met with great excitement by Basketball Ireland, as it is the first time Ireland has hosted an underage European Championships final tournament. #
