A 16-time national rowing champion has told how Paul O'Donovan had aimed to row in Rio since the age of 12.

It comes after Ireland's history-making rowers, Paul and his brother Gary O'Donovan, took silver in the Rio games and claimed the country's first Olympic medals in the sport.
