More windy weather could further disrupt rowing on Thursday

Rowing has already been cancelled on two days.

Bad weather threatens to throw the Olympic rowing regatta further off kilter, with more blustery conditions forecast in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday.

Numerous athletes complained about being forced to race as the wind whipped across the Lagoa on the opening day of Rio 2016, but worsening conditions led to the abandonment of Sunday's racing.
