An Irish man could find out in the next 48 hours whether he will face jail time over his alleged involvement in the Olympic ticket scandal.

36-year-old Kevin Mallon, who works for British hospitality provider THG Sports , was arrested in Brazil on suspicion of illegally selling tickets to high profile events.
