Peter Ebdon crashes out of World Championship, champion Stuart Bingham on the brink

Peter Ebdon tumbled out of the Betfred World Championship and last year's winner Stuart Bingham was in danger of joining him as the famous Crucible curse looked set to strike again.

World champion in 2002, Ebdon fell at the first-round stage for the 12th time in his 23 career appearances in Sheffield as former semi-finalist Marco Fu secured an impressive 10-2 victory.
