MMA fans unimpressed with this Irish company’s use of a Jose Aldo image
The Hamptons Floor Store company has drawn the attention of MMA fans worldwide with an eye-catching billboard they have on display in Dublin at the moment.
The billboard shows a picture of former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo, who was defeated by Conor McGregor in December, laid out in the octagon.
They’ve captioned the image: “You don’t need a Brazilian to get laid”.

The billboard has been placed near Conor McGregor’s home gym, the Straight Blast Gym run by John Kavanagh in Tallaght.
The ad has made some fight fans laugh, but since the image spread on social media many more have expressed anger at what they see as disrespect towards the Brazilian fighter.
@goldielocked @TheNotoriousMMA @josealdojunior @Pendred @UFCEurope @danawhite the stupidity of the Irish people always surprise me

Respected MMA journalist Ariel Helwani was startled by the image; initially taking it for a joke.
That can't be true. https://t.co/QZxtzj6o1M

They are not alone; plenty more have criticised the company on Reddit.
