Conor McGregor offers to step in for Dublin UFC Fight Night on Saturday
Irish MMA fans left devastated by the news that headliner Joseph Duffy is out of the upcoming UFC Fight Night have received a very unexpected offer.

The UFC star offered to step into Duffy’s show and take on his scheduled opponent Dustin Poirier.
McGregor beat Poirier via a technical knockout in Las Vegas last year, but offered the fighter “another crack at the King no sweat”.
Given that McGregor is in training for a high-profile title fight against Jose Aldo in December, there is almost zero chance of it happening.
Fans can dream though.
