New England Patriots facing NFL investigation for deflating footballs
New England Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl after an easy 45-7 win against the Indianapolis Colts yesterday, but the victory has been overshadowed by reports they may be facing an investigation over possible cheating.
Reports online suggest the NFL are looking into whether the Patriots deflated the footballs used during the match.
The game was played in poor weather conditions so a deflated ball would have been easier to throw and catch.

Patriot’s fans can go ahead and book their tickets to the Super Bowl as the investigation will not affect the result. But a negative outcome could cost them valuable draft picks next season.
