Boxer fronts up to World champion - by stealing his food
World Heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko was having a meal in a restaurant in Hollywood, Florida yesterday when he had an visitor.
Fellow boxer Shannon Briggs, who just so happens to be looking for a title fight against the Ukrainian, barged in and joined his table.
A bizarre scene unfolded with Briggs grabbing food from Klitschko’s plate while shouting:” Where you go I go, champ…..what you eat, I eat.”
Klitschko at first appeared untroubled by the interruption, but the situation escalated rapidly when Wladimir poured a glass of water over Briggs’ head.
Briggs went ballistic and had to be restrained and dragged from the restaurant, still shouting his head off.
You are not alone if you find the whole incident a bit odd and it has been widely dismissed as a staged stunt.
Briggs’ seems unrepentant about the whole thing, tweeting hours later about glass in his foot.
I got a piece of glass in my foot. Wladimir got a glass chin. We even. 😂😂😂 #letsgochamp http://t.co/A9fMO51CmB

This was the second confrontation between the two with Briggs’ interrupting the heavyweight champion’s gym session 3 days earlier.
Yesterday I had a special guest. Some rumble in the gym!https://t.co/GEtrSRqUYl

However, given it was Klitschko who posted this video on Twitter and he is seen laughing throughout we think it’s safe to say he isn’t exactly upset by the whole circus.
Anyone want to take bets on how long before a fight between the pair is announced?
