Rosberg takes German GP pole; Hamilton crashes out of qualifying

Nico Rosberg of Mercedes will start the German Grand Prix on pole position after qualifying fastest at Hockenheim. Williams driver Valtteri Bottas was second quickest while Ferrari’s Felipe Massa was third.

However Lewis Hamilton’s wretched run in qualifying continue as an apparent brake failure sent the Formula One title contender crashing out in the opening session.
