The 26-year-old middleweight is set to make his debut in Dublin on July 19th.
3e have announced this afternoon that it has agreed the broadcast rights for the event and will broadcast live from the O2 arena on the night.
The event is headlined by Ireland's Conor McGregor who faces Diego Brandao after the event sold out in minutes.
Pendred was interviewed on the UFC website about how much he was looking forward to the event.
"It will be an amazing feeling. I have been representing Ireland on the international stage of MMA for a few years," said Pendred.
“We might not wear a green jersey, but we walk to the octagon with the tri-colour wrapped around us with pride. We will be representing our nation on the biggest stage in our sport.”
Pendred will be one of at least five Irishmen confirmed for the event.
