What a knockout! Limerick man Lee wows spectators with single blow

Irishman Andy Lee produced what is widely being called the "knockout of the year" in his Madison Square Garden clash with John Jackson.

Lee, from Limerick, had been taking a lot of punches and was literally on the ropes in round five of the Junior Middleweight match — when all of a sudden, Jackson falls to the ground.

In a move so fast you might not see it, Lee delivers a lightning-quick uppercut that leaves Jackson out for the count - and immediately attended by medical staff.

The commentators in the video above can clearly barely believe it, with a momentary silence before a sharp intake of breath.
