Jason Quigley has won the silver medal at the Boxing World Championships.

Jason Quigley has won the silver medal at the Boxing World Championships.

He lost on a unanimous decision to Zhanibek Alimkhanuly in the final this morning- 27-30, 27-30, 28-29.

It is the first defeat in 33 bouts for the Donegal man and he still becomes the first Irish man to ever win a silver medal at the World Championships.
