O’Sullivan hints at future tournaments
World champion Ronnie O’Sullivan has indicated he is set to play in the end-of-year UK Championship as well as January’s Masters.
The 37-year-old won his fifth world crown in Sheffield last month, but said he would only be playing 10 more tournaments to satisfy a sponsorship requirement before retiring.
O’Sullivan has made such threats before and has almost carried them out - Sheffield was his first appearance in almost a year as he took a self-imposed break.
He has refused to commit himself to any sort of concrete schedule for the season ahead, but this afternoon tweeted:
I'm hitting the ball so sweet just wished the uk or masters was now
