Alonso seeks consistency

Fernando Alonso knows he has to become ’Mr Consistent’ over the next few grands prix if he is to make any inroads into Sebastian Vettel’s Formula One world championship lead.

Alonso has so far endured a hit-and-miss season, winning two races in China and Spain, as well as finishing runner-up in Australia but, on the flip side, retiring in Malaysia and being off the boil in Bahrain and Monaco.
