Trio in contention for magpies
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew will be able to welcome back a trio of key players for Sunday’s Barclays Premier League trip to QPR.

However, midfielder Moussa Sissoko and striker Shola Ameobi (both knee) will not play again this season after joining goalkeeper Tim Krul (shoulder) and full-back Massadio Haidara (hamstring) on the casualty list, while midfielder Sammy Ameobi is available after returning from his loan spell at Middlesbrough.
Provisional squad: Elliot, Harper, Debuchy, Simpson, Santon, S. Taylor, Coloccini, Williamson, Yanga-Mbiwa, Perch, Tiote, Bigirimana, Cabaye, Anita, Gutierrez, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Gosling, Obertan, Sammy Ameobi, Cisse, Gouffran, Campbell.
