London Marathon to go ahead as planned

The London Marathon will go ahead as planned, organisers said today after the Boston Marathon explosions prompted an urgent security review.

Organisers of this weekend’s events in London said they have reviewed and will continue to review security arrangements with the Metropolitan Police and other authorities.
