Cragg falls short in 5,000m heats

Alistair Cragg has missed out on a place in the final of the 5,000 metres.

As is usual, it was the runners from Ethiopia, namely Dejen Gebermeskel and Yenew Alamirew, who took the top two spots in the heat, with Kenya's Thomas Longosiwa, Bernard Lagat of the USA and Abdalaati Iguider taking the rest of the qualifying spots.
