18th gold for Phelps

Michael Phelps has ended his swimming career with an 18th gold medal in the men's relay event.

The greatest Olympian in the history of the modern Games, Michael Phelps last night swam his last ever individual race and won 17th gold medal and his 21st overall, claiming victory in the 100m butterfly at the Aquatics centre.
