Rheinisch misses out on final

There was disappointment this afternoon for Ireland's Eoin Rheinisch in the semi-final of the Men's Kayak Slalom K1.

The Kildare man, who finished fourth in Beijing, missed a gate during his run and misses out on a place in this afternoon's final.

The Irish kayaker had a nightmare K1 slalom semi-final as he suffered a 50-second penalty that saw him finish 14th of the 15 starters.
