The Dubliner won the first two races yesterday.
Peter O'Leary & David Burrows are fifth heading into day two of the Men's Star Class while Seaton and McGovern have finished 15th in the third race in the 49er class.
In the men's Laser, James Espey lies in 42nd place overall and his race is underway later.
Ireland finished fifth in the team eventing following rounds from Mark Kyle, Joseph Murphy and Aoife Clark in the jumping.
All three have also qualified for the individual final, however.
Earlier, Grainne Murphy has pulled out of 800 metres freestyle swimming event.
The Wexford athlete has suffered glandular fever in recent months causing disruption to her preparation.
In rowing, sculler Sanita Puspure finished fourth in her quarter-final and does not progress to the main semi-final.
In badminton, Chloe Magee continues her group campaign with a match against Pi Hongyan at around 2.20pm.
