Disappointment for Irish rower Puspure
Team Ireland's Sanita Puspure come up just short of qualifying for the semi-finals of the women's single sculls event at the Olympics today.
The Latvian-born rower came in fourth place in Heat 2, with the top three qualifying.
She had a tough heat draw, pitched against gold medal favourite Miroslav Knapkova, who won the heat.
The USA's Genevra Stone finished in second with Sweden's Frida Svensson in third.
