Nocher fails to qualify in 100m breststroke

Melaine Nocher has failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the Women's 100m backstroke despite coming third in her Olympics heat today.

The Irish swimmer finiahed with a time of 1:02.44, the 33rd best time overall. The best 16 times qualified.
