Irish athletes enjoy successful day in Helsinki

Another sensational day in Helsinki has seen three Irish athletes qualify for finals at the European Athletics Championships.

400m hurdler Jessie Barr, Brian Gregan over 400 flat and steeplechaser Stephanie Reilly all exceeded their own expectations to put in battling displays, progressing through to finals in the Finnish capital, continuing on from yesterday’s encouraging displays.
