Irish Olympic High Jump hopeful Deirdre Ryan is eager to get back into competitive action ahead of London 2012, following an ankle injury which has ruled the Dundrum-based athlete out since January.

Ryan jumped a career best 1.95 metres for a new national record at the World Championships in September and it was also good enough to book a spot at this summer's games.
