Joyce one fight away from Olympics

Irish boxer David Oliver Joyce is just one win away from a place at London 2012.

Joyce cruised through his quarter-final at this week's Olympic qualifying tournament in Turkey.

The Athy lightweight beat Artur Bril of Germany by 22 points to 14 in today's last-16 bout and will now fight Evaldas Petrauskas of Lithuania for an Olympic spot tomorrow.
