Khan promotors claim offer of rematch

Amir Khan’s promoters claim he has been offered a rematch with Lamont Peterson after they were told by the International Boxing Federation that the “mystery man” seen ringside at last month’s fight is one of their officials.

Khan on Thursday used his Twitter account to post a series of images of the man, seen wearing a dark hat, and to draw attention to his movements around the judges’ table. Peterson won Khan’s IBF and World Boxing Association titles after a disputed points decision.
