Three of the world’s top cricketers were jailed today for their parts in a match-fixing scam that rocked international sport.

Pakistan’s former Test captain Salman Butt, 27, received a 30-month sentence and fast bowler Mohammad Asif, 28, was given a 12-month term behind bars for plotting to bowl deliberate no-balls in the Lord’s Test against England last summer.
