Dolan hits historic nine-darter in Dublin
Irishman Brendan Dolan wrote his name into the record books while progressing through to the PDC World Grand Prix final, where he will face the mighty Phil Taylor tomorrow in Dublin.
The Belcoo native produced the first nine-dart finish in World Grand Prix history during the second set of his semi-final with James Wade before going on to knock out the reigning champion 5-2 and reach the first major final of his career.
In the other semi-final, nine-time champion Taylor saw off the challenge of Richie Burnett - playing in his first major semi-final since 2001 - 5-2.
