O'Reilly included in European Championships squad after court case

Portlaoise boxer Michael O'Reilly has been granted permission to compete in next week's European Youth Boxing Championships in Dublin.

The announcement comes after the Central Council of the Irish Boxing Association met to discuss the matter, in the wake of the 18-year-old's made a successful High Court challenge against a decision to drop him from the panel yesterday.

The reigning youth champion claimed he was unfairly dropped after an incident of indiscipline earlier this month.
