Vettel on top as Horner holds showdown talks

Sebastian Vettel took the honours in final practice to give Red Bull chief Christian Horner something to smile about following a protracted meeting with FIA technical director Charlie Whiting.

The closing 60-minute session for tomorrow’s British Grand Prix was overshadowed for Horner by an extension of the technical row that emerged yesterday when he and McLaren counterpart Martin Whitmarsh went head to head in the team principal press conference.
