Hosts Ireland made up for the disappointment of missing out on the semi-finals of the Champions Challenge by beating Azerbaijan to set up a fifth-place play-off against South Africa.

Cork Harlequins defender Cliodhna Sargent scored the only goal of the match 10 minutes after half-time.

South Africa beat India 2-0 thanks to goals from Pietee Coetzee and Lesle-Ann George.

Tomorrow Scotland face the USA and Japan take on Spain in the semi-finals.
