Moylette wins through to European semi-finals

One of Ireland's boxers has won a bronze medal at the European Championships in Turkey.

Ireland's Ray Moylette beat his Russian opponent 14-13 in his quarter-final.

However, Kilkenny's Darren O'Neill was beaten 10-17 by his Ukrainian opponent and Mullingar's John Joe Nevin has lost 13-12 to his Russian opponent in the quarter-final this afternoon.

Three more fighters are in action today, Michael Conlon fights at 3.30pm, Willie McLaughlin is under way at 4.30pm and Joe Ward fights at 5.30pm.
