Mark Webber refused to draw up a “shopping list of excuses” to explain away his miserable qualifying effort for tomorrow’s Chinese Grand Prix.

The Red Bull driver will line up 18th on the starting grid in Shanghai after two days of struggle with the team’s recalcitrant KERS turbo-boost device.
